It is learned that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of 100 CRT Motor Youth all-terrain vehicles (ATV) on January 5. The reason for the recall is that CRT Motor Youth model ATVs do not meet mandatory safety requirements. Children may cause serious collisions and serious injuries if they are driven at maximum speed. In addition, if a child's body or hand hits the handlebars at high speed, there is a risk of tearing the handlebars. The recalled ATVs are DF125AVA and DF125AVB. The vehicles are available in seven colors: black, blue, green, green camouflage, pink camouflage, red and yellow. The model number is located on the VIN plate under the front of the frame. They were manufactured in China and the recall number is 22-043. Here are the product pictures: It is understood that the ATV will be sold for around $200 at Motorsports Planet stores across the United States from April to August 2021. CPSC advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled ATVs and contact CRT Motor for instructions on how to obtain a full refund. No accidents or injuries have been reported.
