Payment methods are too limited! 74% of American consumers want to pay with their favorite payment methods

According to a report on mass payments jointly released by Tango Card and PYMNTS, 74% of consumers said they hope to be able to choose their favorite payment method for payment, and nearly half of them said they are willing to pay up to 10% of the transaction amount for this.


 

Data shows that in June alone, digital transactions in the United States totaled $108 billion. However, its payment options are relatively scarce. As many as 58 million consumers can choose the payment method they want, but 32 million consumers cannot choose.


 


Millennials received the most payments through rebates, at 98.2 million. Baby boomers received the least payments through property insurance or warranties, at 2.8 million.
