Google's drone company Wing is about to exceed 100,000 deliveries!

Wing, the drone delivery company owned by Google's parent company Alphabet, is about to reach 100,000 deliveries since its launch in 2019.

In 2019, Wing became the first drone delivery company to win approval from the Federal Aviation Administration. The company works with more than 30 well-known brands around the world and currently operates in three countries: Australia, the United States and Finland.

The most successful region was Logan, Australia, with more than 50,000 deliveries in total. In the first week of August alone, customers placed orders for 4,500 deliveries, which equates to a delivery every 30 seconds.

In addition, Amazon's Prime Air also implements drone delivery plans. The plan was first launched in 2016 and was approved by the Federal Aviation Administration last year. However, since the launch of Prime Air, the project has encountered setbacks: technical difficulties, frequent layoffs, etc., and it has been delayed, which makes people doubt its feasibility.
