About Limango

Limango was founded in 2007 and is active in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland and France. Limango was acquired by the Otto Group in 2009 and became a wholly owned subsidiary of myToys, with 322 employees currently.

With 8 million members and 1.7 million buyers, Limango is the leading private shopping community targeting European mothers and young families.

With sales of 6,000 pieces per year, Limango caters for the entire family, offering a selection of brands of baby clothing, children's and adult fashion, cosmetics, outdoor sports and home living at attractive prices.

Other sales channels include Limango-outlet, Limango-deals and Limango-travel, which complement the Limango range with an ongoing offer of products, coupons and family travel services.

Open to third-party sellers

On July 5, 2018, after successful operation on the App side, Limango, a well-known German e-commerce company, launched the platform Limango on its German website limango.de, allowing third-party sellers to sell products.

The marketplace already sells nearly 10,000 products from about 60 sellers, whose products are targeted at families and complement Limango's own range.

Limango claims to provide platform buyers with "a brand new shopping experience, offering the latest brand products with the advantage of short delivery time, while it also inspires consumers to discover new products". Limango currently has more than 2 million users and is very popular among young families.

event

In 2015, Limango, a well-known German shopping website, announced the end of its business in Turkey. Limango made the decision to withdraw from Turkey because its share of the Turkish online retail market had shrunk to less than 10%.

Limango was registered with the Istanbul Commerce Council on February 19, 2009, with a capital of $35.68 million. Limango's decision to withdraw from Turkey appears to be due to the company's share of the Turkish online retail market having shrunk to less than 10%. Limango's owner, Otto-Europe Beteiligungs, is a leading German company.
