Amazon may hold two Prime Day events this year, increasing the chances of sellers experiencing explosive sales

Amazon is so changeable. It’s already halfway through June. While fellow sellers are rushing to participate in PD activities, they also have to deal with their own account review issues. They are all busy!! Busy as hell!!

Today, another batch of old accounts encountered the Consumer Act audit, especially the old sellers in 2013 and 2014. They thought that the turmoil in the world had nothing to do with them, but they still caught up with the "aftermath" of Amazon's audit. This audit is not difficult overall, you just need to provide real information.

Amazon may hold two PD events

Recently, there is news that Amazon will hold two Prime Days again this year! !

According to a screenshot from an Amazon seller, Amazon will hold a fall Prime Member Day event in 2023. It will start in the fourth quarter. Eligible sellers need to submit products participating in the "Prime Fall Deal Event" before 11:59 pm on August 11, 2023.

As one of the world's largest e-commerce giants, Amazon's Prime Day event has long been a festival that consumers around the world look forward to. During the event, Amazon will launch discounts and promotions on millions of products, attracting consumers from all over the world to come and buy.

The Prime Fall promotion is a fourth-quarter shopping event specifically for Prime members, which can attract more Amazon Prime members, and the second event will also help Amazon increase sales in the second half of the year. It is also intended to stimulate the sluggish consumption of the American people.

However, Amazon changed the name of the second Prime Day event from Prime Early Access Sale to Prime Fall Eael Event. I don’t know why they didn’t use the same name as last year’s Early Access Day.

Last year, the first Amazon Prime Early Bird Day was scheduled for October 11-12. This year, it is estimated to be around October. After all, it cannot affect the sales of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

It is worth noting that the second "Prime Day" held in October 2022 only covered 15 countries, compared to the more than 20 countries covered by the Prime Day event. The similarity is that the sales categories are similar. Although the second event is not as popular as the first one (I think it is mainly because of the late notification. Many sellers have just gone through the first event and are exhausted), it still has a boost to Amazon's performance.

When the PD event started last year, the sellers in our group could not hide their excitement and were already incoherent in the group. As expected, Amazon's sales on Prime Day in 2022 reached 12.09 billion US dollars. This is an increase of 8.1% year-on-year compared to 2021. Compared with 2021, both sales and growth rates have increased to varying degrees, and PD sales in 21 reached 11.19 billion US dollars, an increase of 7.7% over the 2020 event.

According to the battle report released by Amazon in 2022, during the PD event, Amazon Prime members purchased more than 300 million items worldwide, with an average of more than 100,000 items purchased every minute, saving more than US$1.7 billion for Prime members worldwide.

In the first half of this year, sellers have been suffering from traffic restrictions for a long time, and have also suffered from Amazon's account review. If there is really a second Prime Day this year, it will undoubtedly be a major benefit to all sellers! ! ! !

If Amazon holds two more Prime Day events, it will not only expand its market share and increase sales, but also convey its confidence and determination to global consumers (that it can lead everyone to become bigger and stronger), shape a good brand image, and bring more benefits and surprises. I believe that the platform will also bring consumers a better shopping experience and provide cross-border sellers with opportunities for explosive orders.

<<:  Beware! Amazon and law firms are taking action one after another, and a large number of sellers may fail before Prime Day!

>>:  Will the store be closed if the account verification fails? Rumor or fact?
