One of the biggest issues when buying fashion online is finding the right size, a situation that leads many consumers to buy multiple sizes of the same style and then return items that don’t fit, which incurs high logistics costs. To make online fashion shopping easier, True Fit, a tool that specializes in helping customers choose clothing and footwear sizes, has just announced a strategic alliance with e-commerce platform Shopify so that sellers can benefit from sizing personalization. True Fit is a tool for increasing online fashion conversions and reducing returns. Through this partnership, all Shopify merchants, regardless of size, will be able to connect their brands to True Fit’s Fashion Genome, which already processes data from 82 million active users and more than 17,000 brands. On the other hand, with the help of artificial intelligence, True Fit can use the information collected in this huge database to find the size that best suits the customer, taking into account parameters such as size differences in different countries or design differences between different garments. In this way, it helps to build greater trust in the customer's purchase process, so brands can cultivate a loyal audience and optimize profit growth. To promote the use of TrueFit, Shopify offers its sellers a 7-day free trial. When customers arrive at a store using True Fit technology, consumers provide basic information about their measurements (weight, height) and add "reference items" from other brands to compare their purchase to items already in stock. Finally, customers can save their profile by entering an email address and creating a password, or they can save and log in using their social account. True Fit partners with Google CloudIn February this year, True Fit also announced a strategic alliance with Google Cloud to integrate with key services BigQuery and BigQuery’s Analytics Hub to simplify how Fashion Genome tool data and analysis are shared with customers. Specifically, True Fit leverages Big Query, a cloud-based data warehouse solution fully managed and integrated with Google Cloud products, and Analytics Hub, a service within BigQuery , to streamline data delivery and provide retailers with more actionable insights.
