Walmart launches "Text to Shop" feature! Supports users to purchase goods via text messages!

According to foreign media reports, Walmart recently announced the launch of a new feature called "Text to Shop". This feature supports users to purchase goods via text messages and is suitable for users of iOS and Android systems.

The new feature will make it easier for users to add items to their shopping lists and place orders. Users simply text Walmart the items they want to buy, and they will be added to their shopping cart. In addition, users can quickly purchase frequently ordered items by texting the word "reorder." Users can check out via text message or the Walmart app and choose a time slot for delivery or pickup.

"Text to Shop automatically connects with your Walmart account so we know what items you order frequently," Walmart explained in its announcement on Wednesday. "If you text an item you've never purchased before, Walmart will offer a wide selection of items. Walmart will send a text message confirmation each time an item is successfully added."

Walmart's Text to Shop feature also allows users to return or exchange items and view items in their shopping carts. Because the feature automatically connects to the user's Walmart account, it has the customer's payment information, preferred pickup location and delivery address.

“Text to Shop was built in collaboration with Walmart’s global technology teams and is simple and convenient to use,” said Dominique Essig, Walmart’s vice president of conversational commerce.
