Founded in 2011 , Vena provides cloud-based financial planning and analysis software that combines Excel with a centralized database that includes sophisticated workflow, reporting and advanced analytical tools.

The company’s platform is designed to automate budgeting, planning and forecasting, as well as the management of reporting and analysis, operational planning and other spreadsheet-intensive business processes.

Service Target

The service is aimed at medium to large enterprises and claims to allow users to choose between strict packaged applications and uncontrolled spreadsheet environments before executing financial and accounting business processes, but instead combine the two.

Customers include Marks & Spencer group plc , Nike Inc., Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc. , Docker Inc. , Nutanix Inc. and White Castle Systems Inc. , among others.

Financing

In October 2012 , enterprise services company Vena Solutions successfully completed its Series A financing, raising a total of US$ 3 million from investors including Klass Capital .

In November 2013 , enterprise services company Vena Solutions successfully completed its Series B financing. The total amount of funds raised was not disclosed, and the investors were from Difference Capital .

In July 2016 , service platform Vena Solutions received US$ 30 million in Series C funding from Centana Growth Partners .

In January 2019 , Vena Solutions Inc. said it had raised $ 115 million in Series D funding, which it will use to expand its business. The round was led by JMI Equity , with participation from existing investor Centana Growth Partners .
