Paxata is a self-service data adaptive analysis platform that provides data cleaning services for enterprise business analysts, developers and IT teams. Website: http://www.paxata.com Founded in 2012 Headquarters: Redwood City, California Founder: Prakash Nanduri

Basic Introduction

Paxata is the pioneer in intelligent, self-service data preparation applications that instantly and automatically transform raw data into ready-made information through a scalable, enterprise-grade platform based on machine learning.

How it works

Paxata 's solutions include connection, discovery, conversion, merging, publishing, collaborative control and other functions. The connection can access data from multiple sources ( Hadoop , etc., supporting Excel , text files, relational databases, XML , JSON and other formats) and then automatically parse the data. The discovery function can support full-text search, interactive text and number filters, histograms, heat maps, etc. to help identify errors and duplicate or missing data; the conversion function can complete data decomposition, connection, deduplication, blank line detection, etc. in real time. The merge function can automatically detect the common attributes of multiple data sets and then merge them into a single view. The results of data preparation can be published on various BI tools.

Partners

Paxata has branches in New York, Washington, D.C., Ohio and Singapore, and has established partnerships with business intelligence companies such as Tableau , Cloudera and Qlikview . Dannon , Box , UBS , Pabst Brewing Company and others are all Paxata 's customers.
