What is GTC? GTC Review
GTC (good till cancle) refers to the time when the product is posted. It will be posted in the store indefinitely until the inventory of the listing is zero. When the host uploads the product, you will choose the posting time, 30 days or GTC, which has nothing to do with whether there is a store or not. The full name is good till cancle , abbreviated as GTC

Background

When selling online on eBay, listings are divided into two forms: fixed price and auction style. Regardless of the form of listing, there is a time limit, generally 3 days, 5 days, 7 days, 10 days, etc. If it is a fixed price listing, its maximum online time is 30 days, and the online inventory number needs to be set when it goes online. Whether the listing time limit expires or the online inventory is sold out, the listing will be removed from the shelves.

When you have developed a product with good sales performance and hope that the product will continue to sell on eBay, accumulate sales (Sold) and be displayed to your buyers on the listing, you can choose Good 'Til Cancelled listing (GTC continuous online listing).

Duration of online listing

You can choose 3 days, 5 days, 7 days, 10 days, and 30 days of online time. You can also choose the Good 'Til Canceled (GTC) mode of listing online time.

develop

Starting from November 1, 2016, eBay UK opened GTC listings to all corporate sellers. Previously, only Store sellers were allowed to post such listings.

Starting from July 2017, listings with missing or invalid product identification codes will no longer be able to be modified or re-listed. Starting from September, GTC listings with missing or invalid identification codes will no longer be automatically renewed.

In February 2019, eBay may force all sellers to list GTC listings (long-term online listings, Good til Cancelled) instead of short-term listings.
