Delivery time

Items with the Guaranteed Delivery logo are guaranteed to be delivered within 3 days.

Seller Requirements

• Ensure that at least 25% of your listings are eligible for eBay Guaranteed Delivery by May 31, 2018.

• Conditions for Excellent Rated Sellers (eTRS) protection:

(1) The seller needs to be a top seller in the February or March evaluation.

(2) The delayed delivery rate is kept below 10%.

(3) The transaction defect rate still needs to meet the requirements of Top Rated Seller.

Top eBay Sellers

If sellers choose to join the Guaranteed Delivery service before May 31, eBay will allow sellers to have a late shipment rate of up to 10%.

•eBay will protect your late shipment rate for 6 full evaluation periods (March 20th - August 20th).

• Starting from September 20, seller standards will be evaluated according to the requirements of Top Rated Seller.

For all sellers

eBay will cover costs incurred due to late deliveries until June 30, including:

• Return shipping costs

•Return label

use

Buyers only need to click the Guaranteed Delivery button at the top of the search results page, and all Guaranteed Delivery listings will be displayed on the page. However, if buyers do not use the search filter button, the search results will not change due to Guaranteed Delivery.

Policy for buyers

If the item does not arrive within the time specified in eBay Guaranteed Delivery, the buyer can choose one of the following remedies:

•Return shipping (paid by the seller); if the product originally had free shipping, the buyer can get a $10 coupon (provided by eBay).

• Full refund of merchandise cost (paid by the seller) eBay Guaranteed Delivery initial protection plan

Advantages

1. Guaranteed Delivery can increase exposure. eBay will add a new "Guaranteed Delivery" search option to help sellers who provide faster delivery options find new buyers with time-sensitive requirements.

2. Guaranteed Delivery can improve customer satisfaction. When buyers make purchasing decisions, delivery time is the second most important consideration after free shipping.

3. Guaranteed Delivery can increase seller autonomy. Sellers will be able to set different cut-off times according to working days and set regional freight rate tables.

4. Guaranteed Delivery gives buyers more search options. Buyers will be able to search and filter items by precise delivery date.

5. Promised delivery date

Buyers can expect their items to arrive by the promised delivery date.

6. Provide protection

If the buyer's item does not arrive by the promised delivery date, the buyer will receive compensation accordingly.

develop

In the fall of 2017, eBay launched the Guaranteed Delivery feature on its US site.

In May 2018, eBay Australia launched the Guaranteed Delivery service, and sellers can enjoy the initial protection plan.
