Be careful of rejection! Amazon clarifies labeling requirements and regulates labeling behavior

When selling goods on the Amazon platform, you cannot avoid FBA.

Although Amazon does not require sellers to use FBA, it is also OK to use other shipping methods.

However, from the perspective of long-term maintenance of seller accounts and increase in seller sales: if you don’t use FBA, you have already lost at the starting line.

How to say it?

Using FBA can help increase sales

After using FBA, the keyword search weight of your product will increase, and Amazon's system will naturally rank your product higher. Don't ask why, this is calculated by Amazon's system.

In addition, the products shipped through FBA will have a special Prime logo . Prime is a great product of Amazon. Consumers only need to pay Amazon a few dozen dollars a year to become Prime members of Amazon and enjoy a series of Amazon services.

One of these services is free shipping all year round, but it is only for products delivered by Amazon. So, if you join FBA, members on Amazon are your potential customers.

Another point is that these Prime members like Amazon’s services very much and shop on Amazon frequently. Just imagine, if you enjoy free shipping on Amazon all year round, would you still go shopping on other platforms?

Greatly improve user experience

By using FBA, we can process orders and deliver them 24/7, 365 days a year, which greatly improves the user experience.

This is easy to understand. No one wants to buy something online and wait for half a month or even a month to receive the goods.

In addition, when using FBA, Amazon customer service will help sellers handle some customer service services after delivery, handle returns and refunds, and sellers can reserve more time for product operations.

Amazon has strict requirements for sellers

Although FBA is very convenient, Amazon is also very strict with FBA sellers. Amazon sellers must perform FBA shipments under the requirements of the platform.

Therefore, in the entire Amazon FBA delivery process, from major aspects such as delivery time and delivery quantity to small things like product labels, sellers must take it seriously.

If the delivery time is late, if you encounter some uncontrollable factors, it will cause delays in warehousing and shelving.

If the shipment volume is too large, it will be easier for our products to be unsalable and incur storage fees. However, if the shipment volume is too small, resulting in insufficient inventory or even out of stock, sales will be affected.

As for labeling, it is generally recommended to use two labels, one on each side. If you only use one, the label may be accidentally worn out during transportation and the Amazon warehouse will not be able to scan it into the warehouse.

Amazon new labeling notice

Of course, regarding labeling, Amazon issued a new requirement notice today.

The platform requires that the Amazon label and the express label be aligned parallely and pasted on the same side.

Amazon’s standardization this time is actually expected.

Before this, sellers may choose to simply stick Amazon labels and express labels on the packages for the sake of convenience.

However, this operation increases the difficulty for Amazon warehouses to match express delivery numbers with FBAIDs, which directly results in reduced logistics efficiency.

Amazon has not yet given a clear implementation time, but for safety reasons, it is recommended that all sellers and freight forwarders make adjustments in accordance with Amazon's regulations to avoid the regulations being implemented while the goods are in transit, which may not only result in additional costs but also the risk of rejection.
