AMECA certification stands for Automotive Manufacturers Equipment Compliance Agency, Inc., which is an independent third-party certification agency established in 1994. Due to its independence and professionalism, its certificates are widely recognized by major importers.

In order for a manufacturer to obtain an AMECA certificate, the samples must pass the test of an AMECA-approved laboratory. After the test is qualified, AMECA will issue a certificate. The certificate is valid for 3 years, and it needs to be retested and reapplied after expiration. AMECA will publish the information of the certified companies and their products on its official website for buyers' reference.

The products involved in AMECA certification mainly include lamps, headlights, auxiliary lamps, rearview mirrors, brake drums, brake shoes, brake fluid, brake hoses, automotive glass, wheels and hubs, unhooks, etc.
