Hurricane "Fiona" landed in Canada! eBay released seller protection measures!

If you are transacting with a buyer or seller in an affected area, there is a high chance that delivery delays may occur due to communication breakdowns. eBay recommends that you remain patient, both throughout the transaction and when providing feedback after the item arrives.

As a seller, you don’t need to worry about your service index rating being affected. If your business is affected, eBay will automatically protect your seller performance, including:

• Delayed delivery rate;
• Effectively track information upload rate;
• "Item Not Received" disputes due to delayed delivery, provided that the seller has uploaded tracking information and received a physical scan from the logistics carrier before the buyer initiated the dispute;
• Bad transactions that occur due to sellers canceling the transaction.

In addition, we will automatically delete any related negative or neutral feedback so that it will not affect the seller's service index rating, so you do not need to contact eBay customer service team to remove these records.
