Fire breaks out at Walmart warehouse! Online orders or delivery delays!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, a fire broke out at Walmart's distribution center in Plainfield, Indiana at noon on March 18, and the fire continued to burn until the morning of the 19th.

Robert Arrieta, senior manager of media relations at Walmart, said the fire would not affect the shelves of physical stores, but Walmart's online orders would be affected because the distribution center is responsible for delivering goods ordered by online customers.

The Plainfield Fire Chief said the cause of the fire was not yet known, but it appeared to have started on the third floor of the warehouse, where flammable goods such as alcohol and tobacco were piled.

It is understood that due to the severe fire and thick smoke, the facilities were burned down. Residents near the distribution center have been evacuated and moved away from this place.

There is no doubt that the fire will cause huge losses to Walmart. In addition to the goods being burned, the speed of goods delivery and sellers' inventory will be affected.
