The completeness of a listing does not simply refer to whether the listing can be launched online, but includes whether it can be launched online and whether, after being launched, the listing has the elements to attract traffic and potentially increase conversions.


Sellers are scored according to the table above. The self-test scores are as follows:

80~100 points : ASIN has all core attributes
70~79 points : ASIN lacks a core attribute and has room for improvement
60~69 points : ASIN lacks 1-2 core attributes and has room for improvement
50~59 points : lacks 3-4 core attributes and needs improvement
1-49 points : lack of 4-5 core attributes, exposure conversion will be seriously affected, urgent improvement is needed
0 points : The ASIN was created but there are compliance issues, or all elements are missing and it is prohibited from being displayed in the search and browse interface

Compared with the 2022 Listing Self-Test Form, the 2023 upgraded version of the Listing Self-Test Form has the following changes.

1. No points for unbranded products
Specifically, in the "Title" column of the new self-test form, the title length should be controlled between 10 and 200 characters, and the title must "start with the brand name."
Amazon clearly stipulates in the new rating table: No points will be given for unbranded products.
2. All optional attributes must be filled in
Optional attributes refer to the attributes recommended by the system on the Listing upload page, which are used to enrich product information. However, since they are not required, many sellers generally choose to leave them blank.
But in the latest listing self-assessment form released by Amazon, the score of this product option soared to 25 points! !
The scores of these optional items have been greatly improved, which also shows that Amazon is currently actively promoting the details and perfection of listings. Everyone must work hard on the details of the listing in the future!

3. The scoring rules for the image item have changed

The first change: the original requirement of "at least 3 pictures" was changed to "at least 4 pictures" , and the minimum picture standard was increased by one.

The second change: A new scoring option has been added : "The main image is a high-definition version and supports zooming." If your image is not high-definition or does not support zooming, you will definitely not get these 10 points.

It can be seen from this table that sellers in 2023 should focus more on user experience, starting from the content and quality of the title, picture shooting and presentation, and the supplementation and improvement of optional attributes, to optimize the listing details and make up for the "shortcomings" that have been ignored in the past.
