Basic Introduction

E2open is a company that focuses on providing enterprises with solutions for connecting with supply chain partners. It was originally jointly established by a group of industry giants including BenQ, Hitachi, IBM , LG , Lucent, Panasonic Electronics, Nortel, Seagate, Aslectron and Toshiba in the summer of 2000. Its goal is to build a common platform for the entire industry to enable collaborative processes between trading partners.

Development History

In the first quarter of 2018, it acquired channel data management providers Birch Worldwide and Entomo .

In October 2018 , E2open acquired Cloud Logistics, a transportation management system service provider .

In October 2018 , supply chain technology company E2Open continued its acquisition path by purchasing container booking platform Inttra .

In May 2019 , E2open announced again that it had reached a final agreement to acquire Amber Road Inc., a global trade management software provider , in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately US$ 425 million.
