Good news! Amazon extends Prime Day promotion submission period

The deadline for Amazon Prime Day promotion submissions has been extended to June 5.

Prime Day 2020 will likely take place in late August, but a final date has yet to be announced.

Many employees died after being infected! Amazon will invest $4 billion to fight the epidemic

On May 7, according to the latest reports, another Amazon employee died of COVID-19. The 50-year-old employee was a picker at Amazon's warehouse in northwestern Illinois. He died on April 18, leaving behind a wife and five children.

The announcement of the employee's death comes a day after Amazon announced that another employee working at a warehouse on Staten Island, New York, had died from the coronavirus.

It is worth mentioning that Amazon often lags behind the time of employee deaths by more than half a month. Amazon only announced the news half a month after the first employee passed away. The latest announcement of the 50-year-old employee was also made half a month after his death.

Amazon to close French warehouses until May 13 and appeal to Supreme Court

On May 8, Amazon said on Thursday that it plans to extend the closure of its French warehouses until May 13 (inclusive) and will appeal to the French Supreme Court.

Prior to this, a French court ruling required Amazon to only sell necessities such as food and medical supplies in France during the epidemic, otherwise it would face huge fines. For this reason, Amazon's six warehouses in France have been closed since April 16.

Previously, Amazon said it would continue to close its six warehouses in France until May 5, and on Thursday the company extended the closure period again to May 13.
