Walmart ranks first in global revenue with $611 billion, Amazon lags behind by $100 billion!

According to data from Statista's company database Company DB, Walmart is the world's highest-earning company with an annual revenue of approximately $611 billion. Amazon ranks third with revenue of approximately $514 billion, $100 billion behind Walmart.


Energy prices soared after Russia invaded Ukraine in early 2022, and the list of the world's highest-earning companies now includes many oil and gas companies, the largest of which is Saudi state-owned Saudi Aramco, with annual revenues of $604 billion.


The top 10 also includes Dutch oil and gas company Vitol , PetroChina, CNPC, as well as Exxon Mobil and Shell.


State Grid Corporation of China, which is engaged in power generation, transmission and distribution, ranks No. 9. The only non-energy company currently on the list is Apple, with annual revenue of $394 (ranked No. 8).
