Walmart launches Onramp loan program to help sellers operate during peak season!

Walmart is adding e-commerce financing expert Onramp to its Walmart Marketplace third-party online sales platform. Now, independent sellers and small retailers on the Walmart Marketplace can get faster and more flexible financing solutions to expand their business.

Through this integration, Onramp can now provide online sellers on Walmart Marketplace with growth loan funds for inventory management, marketing, shipping and other operations. Moreover, the repayment amount is linked to the seller's sales performance. This means that sellers will get more flexible loan solutions to increase sales and profits.

“As an approved Walmart Marketplace Solutions Provider, Onramp can now help sellers on Walmart Marketplace access capital to grow their businesses faster,” said Eric Youngstrom, CEO of Onramp. “We are proud to be Walmart’s partner in helping them get the cash they need to grow.”

Existing Onramp customers who already sell on Walmart Marketplace can benefit directly from this integration. Onramp customers who do not currently sell on Walmart.com can also access this loan funding by joining Walmart Marketplace. By becoming a Walmart Marketplace seller, they also have the opportunity to enjoy additional benefits, including selling with confidence on a trusted and transparent marketplace with a large platform audience.

Walmart.com is currently the third most popular e-commerce marketplace in the United States, attracting nearly 400 million visitors per month, according to data from website traffic analysis company SimilarWeb.

Other benefits Walmart offers sellers include zero monthly or setup fees, competitive commission and delivery fees, and access to powerful tools for pricing, catalog management, shipping, returns, and brand management.

Notably, Onramp’s addition to Walmart Marketplace comes at a critical time for online sellers as they prepare for the busy holiday season, a prime time for them to review and expand their sales channels.
