On November 15, 2018, The Noco Company sued Shenzhen Lancaitong Technology Co., Ltd, Shenzhen Zhida Xintai Technology Co., Ltd, and Shenzhen Baoweikai Technology Co., Ltd for false advertising and trademark infringement in the Eastern Division of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

In March 2021, NOCO initiated a 337 infringement investigation against lithium battery emergency starting power products of several Chinese companies at the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) (investigation code: 337-TA-1256).
