Japan's Giteki certification as a whole relies on the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan ( full English name : Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications ) Certification based on the "Radio Wave Act" and the "Electronic Communications Business Act" promulgated by MIC (abbreviated as MIC) .

Myth

Some people call it Telec or Jate certification. The full name of Telec is Telecom Engineering Center . It was the first legal institution in Japan to conduct radio wave law certification. Therefore, some people in mainland China mistakenly believe that Japan's giteki certification is telec certification. In fact, in the early days, TELEC could only certify the radio waves of giteki , but not the telecommunications business. In July 2014 , TELEC finally obtained the certification qualification for Japan's telecommunications business.
