About 38,300 units sold! Domestic recliners are urgently recalled by CPSC!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of beach lounge chairs made in China on January 26. The reason for the recall is that the lounge chairs may collapse accidentally during use, and fingers are likely to be caught by the folding head, causing injuries to users.

The recalled recliners are reportedly available in two colors: red or blue. The recliners have a white metal frame with a white label on the frame. One side of the label has the words "Outdoors by Design" printed on it, and the other side has information such as "Distributed by Midwoods Brands LLC (distributor)", SKU 3499631 or SKU 3401281 printed on it. The report said the recliner was sold online or in physical stores at Family Dollar from January 2019 to September 2021. About 38,300 units have been sold so far. The manufacturer of the product is Shanghai Worth Garden Products Co., Ltd.

The CPSC recommends that consumers stop using the recliner immediately and contact Family Dollar to return the product for a full refund. Consumers need to send an email to Family Dollar with a description and photos of why the product cannot be used.
