Biden meets with CEOs of Walmart, UPS, FedEx and others to discuss supply chain bottlenecks!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, US President Biden met with the CEOs of Walmart, UPS, FedEx and Target on Tuesday to discuss issues such as speeding up delivery and lowering consumer prices.

It is reported that during the meeting, the company leaders reported on the latest measures to alleviate supply chain problems and discussed how to ensure adequate inventory and timely delivery during this holiday season.

Biden faces political pressure from rising prices in the United States. He has been working to clear transportation bottlenecks, chip shortages and other problems, and hopes to ease long-term inflation through a series of new bills.

Chronic shortages pushed up consumer prices 5.4% in the 12 months through September, according to the Labor Department. Workers’ average hourly earnings fell 0.8% over the same time frame due to inflation.

Administration officials said they were working quickly to implement some provisions of a $1 trillion infrastructure plan approved by Congress last week to ease congestion at U.S. ports.
