It is learned that Facebook recently announced that starting this week, Facebook will launch its largest live shopping plan to date, providing customers with an easier way to shop.
The plan is reportedly an extension of Facebook's Live Shopping Fridays, a live shopping show the company launched this summer that hosts shopping livestreams with selected retailers, inviting viewers to ask questions about products and make purchases.
Kate said that with the new live shopping program, those who tune in to the daily live shopping holiday series on Facebook and Instagram can use Facebook Pay to access exclusive discounts and complete purchases directly from the app.
According to Facebook, major retailers such as Walmart and Macy's, as well as well-known beauty brands such as Cocokind, Ulta Beauty and Benefit Cosmetics have also agreed to participate in the program.
In fact, live shopping is not as popular in the United States as it is overseas, but platforms such as Facebook and YouTube are increasing their investment in this field. It is estimated that by the end of 2023, online live sales will reach 500 billion US dollars, and social e-commerce will become a major driving force for brands and retailers.
