The goods have arrived at the Amazon warehouse, but it only shows "in transit, not available for sale"? How to deal with it!

Have you ever encountered this problem: the goods have clearly been delivered to the Amazon FBA warehouse, and the logistics information also shows that they have been signed for, but the background keeps showing "in transit" and they are not on the shelves at all!

As an Amazon seller, seeing this kind of situation drives me crazy!

What on earth is going on? Did the goods disappear into thin air?

The goods have arrived at the warehouse but are not put on the shelves yet. What is the reason?

①Amazon warehouse overflows

When the peak season arrives, especially when big sales such as Black Friday and Christmas come, the pressure on Amazon warehouses also increases.

Recently, many sellers have reported that Amazon’s warehouses in the United States, Europe, and Canada are generally overwhelmed, especially in warehouses such as PSC2 and MIT2 in the western United States, where the situation is particularly serious.

The seller’s scheduled warehousing time has been postponed. It is normal to wait for three or four weeks. It’s really frustrating!

②Amazon is understaffed and inefficient

In addition to the increase in cargo volume, some regions were also affected by external factors, resulting in warehouse shortages and operational delays.

To put it bluntly, Amazon is short-staffed and works slowly, so sellers' goods are waiting in line to be put on the shelves.

③Amazon outer box label problem

If the labels on the outer boxes of goods are wrong, damaged or missing, Amazon warehouse employees will not be able to scan them, which will directly lead to delays in the time it takes to put the goods on the shelves.

④Amazon system data synchronization delay

Sometimes the delay in backend data can also cause the goods to be put on the shelves slowly. This situation is not common, but it does happen occasionally.

FBA ID expired or invalid

If the logistics provider you use is unreliable, you may encounter a situation of "delivery with a bundled contract", and your FBA ID may be expired or invalid, so the goods cannot be put on the shelves.

How should sellers respond quickly?

If you encounter this problem, don't panic! The following methods may help you:

① Send emails to urge Amazon to put the product on the shelves

Although Amazon customer service often says "we can't urge the warehouse", in fact many sellers have reported that continuing to send emails to urge is still effective.

If you still don’t know how to write a reminder email, you can refer to the “killer tactics to urge listing” I shared before. I have proven that it works!

② Open a case and ask Amazon to investigate

If you have waited for a long time but still have not seen the listing information, you can directly open a case in the background and ask Amazon to investigate.

Remember to prepare relevant information, such as VAT invoice, delivery document (POD), packing list, etc. The more detailed the information, the faster the processing speed.

③ Communicate with logistics providers

If your goods are transported by truck, remember to ask the logistics company to provide the truck's POD and ISA number; if it is delivered by courier, provide the courier's signature certificate. These materials can help Amazon speed up the processing.

A few tips for sellers

① Choose a reliable logistics provider
Don't be tempted by cheap and unreliable logistics companies. It is best to choose logistics companies with good reputation and high credibility, so that at least there won't be too many problems in the transportation process.

② Prepare goods in advance

Especially during the peak season or before a big sale, sellers must prepare goods in advance and leave enough time for logistics and warehousing. You must know that Amazon warehouses are under great pressure during big sales, and failure to prepare goods in time may miss the best sales opportunity.

③ Be patient and proactive in solving problems

The difficulty of operating on Amazon is increasing year by year. As sellers, we need to maintain a good attitude and take the initiative to solve problems instead of just waiting.

In this cross-border e-commerce marathon, only quick response and flexible adjustment can ensure one's invincibility.

I hope this article can help you, and you don’t need to panic when facing Amazon warehousing problems. The FBA logistics chain is long, and every link is crucial. Sellers must be fully prepared to minimize the impact.
