Share your experience of being merged, ASIN changed, unable to sell normally, and returning to normal

A while ago, three links were spoofed by competitors. The ASINs on the front and back end were different. The listings seemed to have become brand new. Using Keepa, it looked like they were just put on the shelves. They could not be sold normally like the previous listings (often no orders were placed, or orders were placed after a long time).

I opened no less than 50 cases and asked questions on forums, WeChat Moments, and among friends. It took me more than ten days to finally solve the problem.

Summary of changes in listings after being spoofed
1. The ASIN on the front desk has changed and it is a new product (click in from the back-end inventory management)
2. Enter the new Asin at the front desk, but it cannot be found
3. The background Asin has changed, including managing inventory and managing Amazon inventory. The Asin here has become another Asin

reason:
After contacting customer service and talking to friends, I found out that it was a prank by a competitor, who merged our products across sites. Our listing was from the United States, and after the competitor copied our listing in Canada, they created a new identical listing and merged our original ASIN.

Recovery method:
1. Contact customer service first to split it. After splitting, it is very simple.
Customer service sometimes does not split the package for the following reasons:
A. The two listings are too similar to be separated. In this case, you need to modify the listings, either the images or the text.
If you still can't split it after the modification, just open a case like crazy until you meet a customer service representative who can help you split it. Sometimes it really depends on luck.
Our secondary account followed the seller's main account and opened more than ten cases with the main account but to no avail. The secondary account usually gets the problem solved after opening 1~2 cases.

2. After splitting, contact the FBA logistics team and find Amazon Logistics---other Amazon logistics issues here this team
2.1 After the above split, the listing will become unsaleable. This is because the Asin in the inventory management is A, while the Asin in the Amazon inventory management is B, which is inconsistent.
It is unsalable (both were B, i.e. the new Asin)
2.2 At this time, only by contacting this team can we quickly ask the customer service to keep the Asin of the Amazon inventory management department as A. In this way, the inventory management and Amazon inventory management
If the Asin is the same, it can be sold. Usually one case can be done here. If not, the customer service does not understand and open a few more cases. 100% of the time it can be done (tried 4 times)
