2025 has just begun, and Amazon has updated a number of policies one after another. For sellers, changes mean new opportunities but also new challenges. Two days ago, Amazon officially issued another announcement on Vine policy. In order to allow more sellers to "spend less money to achieve great things", the review path for new products will be smoother in 2025. If you have plans to launch new products next year, you must be aware of these major adjustments! Previously, Amazon’s Vine program was only open to “brand owners” who had completed Amazon brand registration. Only after you completed the brand registration of your store, you are eligible to use this official review request tool. But since last year, Amazon has relaxed the threshold for using Vine and opened it to all Amazon sellers, which is definitely something worth celebrating for novice sellers. It should be noted that “open to all Amazon sellers” does not mean “open to all Amazon products”. There are still thresholds for the use of Vine: ●Must be FBA products ● Comments must be less than 30 ●Must be brand new ●Restricted categories such as non-adult products ●Have a professional sales account This change applies to eight major Amazon sites, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Japan. In September 2024, Vine plans to add the "Australia Site" to the applicable site (currently this site is still only open to "Brand Owner" type sellers) Starting from December 2024, the Vine plan will change from a non-changeable tier after registration to a tier where the number of registered items can be upgraded from the "free tier" and "low-price tier" to a higher tier . Specific changes: Sellers can flexibly upgrade the tier by adding more products for the same parent ASIN within the first 30 days of registering the number of products. For example, upgrade from the "free tier" (up to 2 products) or "low-priced tier" (3 to 10 products) to a higher tier. This flexibility is actually very important for sellers. For budget considerations, you may register for the free or low-priced Vine at the beginning. However, if you find that the number is insufficient during the review process, you can now directly choose to upgrade your Vine quantity. Sellers can upgrade according to actual needs, which is very practical. However, it should be noted that once the tier is upgraded, it cannot be downgraded to a lower tier or free tier. The registration period is 90 days, and even if the products are all claimed within 30 days, there is still a 30-day adjustment window. Currently, Amazon's fee discounts for the Vine program are mainly in two aspects: First, new products are newly added to the "Logistics New Product Warehousing Discount Plan", where up to 10 products can enjoy a 25% discount on the $75 low-end plan; Second, sellers of newly registered brands will receive a $200 Vine program registration coupon, which is valid for one year. Remember to use it in time. The Vine programs that Amazon has just released make it more convenient and affordable for more Amazon sellers to use the Vine program to obtain new product reviews. If your product is also worried about getting product reviews, the Vine program is your most suitable option for requesting reviews! |
