General Terms


1. Brand protection


Customers must not use the trademarks, service marks, company names or other trading names of John Lewis plc or any of its subsidiaries without first obtaining the prior written permission of John Lewis.


2. Risks


The risk of loss, damage or destruction of a Gift Card or Gift Voucher remains with John Lewis until delivery to the customer's address or nominated address, at which time the risk shall pass to the customer or recipient.


3. Complaints and Inquiries


Once ordered, gift cards and gift vouchers are treated as cash and cannot be replaced or refunded by John Lewis if lost, damaged or stolen.


4. Discounts


John Lewis reserves the right to withhold a discount if it believes gift cards and vouchers are not being used as a genuine personal or corporate gift. Please note: Minimum order is £1,000. Allow extra time for bank transfers.


5. Price


All prices include VAT and customs duties where applicable.


6. Offensive Weapons Law


Under the Act, it is an offence to sell knives or blades to anyone under the age of 18. These products are only available to customers who are 18 years of age or over. Customers should not order these items for anyone under the age of 18.


7. Licensing Act


Please note that by law, products containing alcohol may only be ordered by customers who are 18 years of age or older.
