At the same time, Hemingway will score your article ( a score of no more than 10 is the best ) . It will also highlight sentences that may be "problematic" in the article in five colors to remind users to modify them to improve the readability of the article.

1 orange sentence: It is not easy to understand. It is recommended to split the sentence into several small sentences;

1 red sentence: very difficult to understand, the grammar or structure is too complicated, and it is easy to lose patience when reading;

1 adverb: It is recommended to reduce the number of adverbs to 2 or less;

1 purple word or phrase: can be replaced by a simpler word.

The meanings of the three colors are listed below:

Hard to read: It is recommended to split the marked sentences into several small sentences for easier understanding;

Very hard to read: The sentences highlighted in red are usually too complex in grammar or structure, which may make readers lose patience to continue reading. Try to modify them to remove the red "alarm";

Words or phrases can be simpler: It is recommended to use simple and easy-to-understand verbs instead of complex verbs.
