Target will cut prices on more than 2,000 items during the holiday season to strengthen sales and gain consumer share


It is learned that on October 22, according to foreign media reports, US retail giant Target announced that it will reduce the prices of more than 2,000 private label and national brand products during the holiday season to help consumers save money.


Target regularly adjusts prices to remain competitive in the market, and this price cut is based on its existing low prices. The latest price cuts include food and beverages, daily necessities, holiday gifts and home furnishings, which will help consumers save money on holiday preparations and gift-giving items, such as toys, board games, beauty products, bath towels, snacks, toilet paper and cold medicine.


In May, Target announced it would reduce prices on approximately 5,000 items, saving summer shoppers millions of dollars. Target also exceeded its commitment to reduce prices on 5,000 items, reducing prices on more than 8,000 items so far this year. By the end of the holiday season, Target will have reduced prices on more than 10,000 items this year.


In addition to launching new everyday low prices, Target is enriching the holiday shopping experience with deals and a variety of gift options throughout the season, and offering additional benefits to members of the Target Circle loyalty program, who can save an additional 5% when paying with a Target Circle card.
