Key for Garage allows eligible Amazon Prime customers (hereinafter referred to as buyers) to make deliveries in their garage using the "Key Smart Garage Kit" by selecting "In-Garage Delivery" at checkout.

Buyers can also monitor the status of the garage door and open or close it remotely by using the Key by Amazon App or Amazon Cloud Cam.

Amazon Key Service allows Amazon to solve the problem of porch express delivery theft.

Launched in 2017, it initially allowed Prime members to schedule packages to be delivered at their homes using a compatible smart lock. Amazon is currently selling the MYQ Smart Garage Hub for $49.99, or you can bundle it with the Amazon Cloud Cam for $124.99. Cloud Cam lets you see video footage of the entry into your garage, so you can always see when your package is due and see exactly what the delivery person did when they entered your garage.

Product Requirements

Packages cannot weigh more than 50 pounds, cannot exceed 26 x 21 x 16 inches, and cannot be valued at more than $1,300.

If these transactions are with third-party sellers on the Amazon platform or require a signature, then users will not be able to choose in-car transactions. In-car delivery will also not be available.
