What is USPS? USPS Review
The United States Postal Service (USPS), also known as the United States Post Office or the United States Postal Service, is an independent agency of the United States federal government and one of the few agencies mentioned in the U.S. Constitution .

history

The history of the Postal Service can be traced back to 1775, when the Second Continental Congress appointed Benjamin Franklin as the first Postmaster General of the United States. In 1792, the Postal Service was upgraded to the United States Postal Department, becoming one of the departments under the United States Cabinet, with Franklin as the first Postmaster General. In 1971, the Postal Department was abolished according to the Postal Reorganization Act and downgraded to the current United States Postal Service.

2. Priority Mail Express International: Delivery within 3 to 5 business days, trackable, starting at $40.95. For shipments weighing less than 4 pounds, you can use the flat rate service for $41.50.

3. Priority Mail International: A reliable and affordable international delivery method that takes 6-10 business days, is trackable, and starts at $23.95. If the weight does not exceed 4 pounds, you can also use the flat rate service.

4. First-Class Mail International: The most affordable international service for postcards, letters and flat mail, for flat mail up to 4 pounds and worth up to $400, with prices starting at $1.15. Note: This service cannot be tracked, so it will be very troublesome if it is lost.

USPS Domestic Express Service

1. First Class, small parcel or envelope, must be less than 13 oz. The postage is calculated based on weight and distance, and the maximum is no more than $3.5.

Time limit: 1-3 days

2. Priority: slightly faster, usually 2-3 days, and needs to be packed in special envelopes or boxes.

There are 2 types:

Flat rate mail (no weighing, fixed fee, size restrictions) and mail (charged by distance and weight). Flat rate mail charges vary depending on the size of the box, so it is suitable for small but heavy mail.

The regional rate box also does not measure weight and is suitable for short distances but heavy packages.

3. Express: the fastest and most expensive. It is usually used to mail documents, especially to China.

4. Parcel, the slowest, usually 2-9 days. Suitable for those who are not in a hurry and heavy. Charges are based on weight and distance.

5. Media, specializes in mailing books or audio-visual products, CDs, DVDs, etc. Very cheap.
