Are many sellers suspected of gathering at Amazon's Shenzhen office to defend their rights? Amazon responded like this...

Today, a seller in the seller communication group sent out two videos like this↓↓↓

In the video, many people gathered at Amazon's Shenzhen office wearing T-shirts with slogans such as "Amazon, give me back my hard-earned money."

Later, the editor saw a seller suspected of participating in the gathering on Weibo saying: Amazon permanently closed my store. Withheld hundreds of thousands of funds. Conscientious seller. Robots closed the store and returned my hard-earned money.

The seller said that Amazon withheld hundreds of thousands of dollars from his store because it was closed for selling masks.

I checked his Weibo and found that on March 21, the seller was still the best seller of masks in the US site......

Many group members speculated that these sellers gathered at Amazon’s Shenzhen office today in order to attract Amazon’s attention and protect their own rights and interests.

Subsequently, we communicated with Amazon officials, who said: In order to help consumers better find the products they need during the epidemic, Amazon has further increased the requirements for the creation of new products for personal safety and household products, involving gloves, soap, paper, thermometers and other related products. Sellers can find more information on the help page of the seller platform. Amazon requires third-party sellers to comply with relevant laws, regulations and Amazon Mall rules. We will continue to monitor 24/7 and remove sellers who violate the regulations.

The statement said that Amazon has increased the requirements for creating new products for personal safety and household products, and hopes that sellers will abide by the relevant rules. Amazon will continue to monitor and remove sellers who violate the regulations.

For these sellers whose stores have been closed, some sellers have proposed relevant solutions for reference. From past experience, Amazon has had machine misjudgments. Sellers can file targeted appeals based on their own circumstances. If it complies with Amazon policies, they should contact seller support as soon as possible and start with the correct appeal channel.

For sellers who have no way to file a complaint, it is a very bad idea for them to gather together today to defend their rights. We will continue to follow up on this matter and hope that Amazon can provide a reasonable solution.

What do sellers think about this? Feel free to leave a comment below to discuss.
