Big news! Amazon's flash sales are free

Due to the epidemic, Amazon Prime Day was delayed accordingly. Previously, the Japanese site backend was the first to open the flash sale application entrance, and then the European site also opened the flash sale!  

Recently, some sellers received an email from Amazon's European team saying that the European site has opened the Prime Day flash sale entrance and invited sellers to submit. Amazon will provide a specific event date when the event approaches.

The email reminded that the deadline for applying for Prime Day flash sales in Europe is July 10. Sellers can only submit Prime Day flash sales applications before July 10, 2020. At the same time, FBA goods prepared to participate in the flash sales must be delivered to the Amazon warehouse before August 21, 2020 .

Sellers can select "Flash Sale" in the promotion type on the promotion management page, then select a product from the recommended inventory products, enter the schedule, and submit their flash sale application.

Similarly, the deadline for accepting applications for flash sales on the Japanese site is also July 10. According to past rules, the time nodes of the big sales on the Japanese site and the US site will not differ too much. Considering the cost, if shipping by sea, sellers should start preparing now, so as to avoid delays in listing products due to warehouse overflow.

Recently, some sellers revealed that flash sales on Amazon UK and Germany are now free .

As soon as this news came out, many sellers were eager to try it out. After all, Amazon has always charged for flash sales, and the price of flash sales may be increased during Prime Day. Many sellers backed off because of the fees for flash sales. If it could really be free, that would be great!

A seller asked the customer service about this and was told that the notification on the flash sale page would be the standard. Sellers who have received a fee exemption notice on the flash sale page or received a flash sale fee exemption email can do so for free. Sellers who have not received a notice or an email will still have to pay the flash sale fee.

Therefore, the flash sale exemption is not completely effective for all sellers. It depends on the specific product. The final result will be based on the notification on the flash sale page.
