The first half of the article does talk about an investigation by Amazon in India that uncovered employees suspected of illegally searching and selling internal data to third-party sellers and suspected of bribing sellers.

This part is not the main point, so we will skip it. The following inconspicuous paragraph really surprised me.

Wholesaler accounts were purchased on the black market and sold by the Chinese team for a whopping $15,000, and were used to maliciously change competitors' pages.

Although it is not clearly stated what account it is, the two points mentioned in this section (selling prices of up to tens of thousands of dollars and changing the competitor’s product pages) allow sellers to tell at a glance that it is referring to a VC account.

The following paragraphs are statements from Amazon officials, stating that sellers and employees who abuse the system will be thoroughly investigated, and the employees/sellers involved will face dismissal/store closure and legal and criminal penalties.

Now Amazon is finally willing to take action to regulate those unscrupulous VC accounts on the platform. Although there are no specific policies and measures yet, after the official statement in the media, I believe these things will not be far from implementation.
