Recently, many sellers have received violation warnings: "We have found that you have violated the Amazon Seller Code of Conduct policy... We took this action because we found that you or someone acting on your behalf requested to change an ASIN to another ASIN that does not match the product corresponding to the current ASIN..."
After the seller receives the performance notification, a corresponding violation record will be generated in the account status: that is, violation of the seller's code of conduct (accurate information), and the impact on the account health is generally "medium" or "high".

1. Frequent submission of merge requests : Sellers apply to merge ASINs or refurbish links through customer service channels (case) many times. If these operations are considered by Amazon to violate the principle of accuracy of product information, they may trigger a violation warning.
2. Frequent modification of detail page information : Sellers repeatedly request to modify key information on the product detail page, such as title, description, attributes, etc. If these modifications are considered by Amazon to be inconsistent with platform regulations or misleading to consumers, they will also receive a violation warning.
3. Other potential reasons : In addition to the above two situations, there may be other behaviors that lead to violations of "accurate information".

Impact of this warning on your account
Amazon will issue a warning notice to sellers who violate the rules for the first time . At this time, the seller needs to submit an action plan in accordance with Amazon's requirements to clearly correct the violations and prevent them from happening again in the future. If the seller can successfully eliminate the violation warning, the account will not be further affected.
However, if the seller continues to violate the rules multiple times after the warning is removed (such as continuing to refurbish links or modify product information), Amazon may suspend the seller's account or even directly close the account . During the appeal process, sellers should maintain active communication with Amazon and submit relevant materials in a timely manner in accordance with Amazon's requirements.
