Amazon sellers share their practical experience in clearing inventory

According to the priority, it can be divided into social media discounts > off-site > member discounts > bulk clearance > outlets > advertising + big coupons > offline inventory clearance > ultra-low prices with low-bid advertising > abandonment

1. Social Media Discounts
Amazon affiliate promotion has a 70% off all the time, with a time limit of one day. If it is not released, open it every day. The success rate is high. The selling price will be reduced by 0.5-1 US dollars each time. When the volume starts to increase, the price will be increased immediately. Control the price at which you can make a loss.

2. Off-site promotion
It is divided into FB groups and Deal sites. It is recommended to use FB for low customer price and Deal sites for high price. You can find a service provider to post, and you need to pay the service provider a commission. You can also post it yourself and find a celebrity to post it, but you need to have high-quality off-site resources.

3. Membership discounts
First do a wave of off-site sales, then turn back to the site and offer membership discounts. You will think it is a surprise. This trick works every time during the peak season because when a large amount of traffic flows into Amazon, the conversion rate of Prime deals is relatively high. I once tried it and opened a prime deal on Black Friday. The product that originally had no orders, sold more than 200 orders on that day.

4. Amazon Logistics Bulk Clearance Program
Based on the agreed rate, the wholesale liquidator will purchase this inventory, and you will receive a total recycling value of approximately 5% to 10% of its average selling price. Amazon will then deduct the relevant fees and pay you the net recycling value. (You can recover some of your costs while avoiding monthly storage fees and long-term storage fees)

5. Outlets
The outlet, an official inventory clearance method provided by Amazon, is a low-price promotion with a dedicated display channel. Sellers who want to participate can sign up in the redundant inventory in the background.
This requires that our overall link score is above 3.5 points, and the inventory of this product has been stored in the Amazon operation center for at least 90 days.

6. Advertising + big discounts (50% off cupon, coupon still costs 0.6 USD, not very cost-effective)
If the product is too cheap, it is not recommended because the cost of in-site advertising is terrifying.

7. Offline inventory clearance
If the goods are sent directly to overseas warehouses, they are usually sold at 5-10% of sales. If the liquidation is 10 US dollars, you should get back 0.5-1 US dollars. If you want to cooperate, you must discuss it clearly beforehand, including the clearing channel, clearing method, payment method, payment time, etc. It is best to sign a legally binding agreement or contract.

8. Super low price with low bidding ads (it depends on your category traffic. If there are no more than 500 orders of products in a small category, it is basically useless)

9. Abandonment (abandonment fee is required, and the cost cannot be recovered)
