Shopify and Airwallex strengthen cooperation! Strive to meet merchants' payment needs!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, Shopify recently announced to strengthen cooperation with fintech payment platform Airwallex. Through this cooperation, Airwallex will launch its plug-in on Shopify, allowing merchants to integrate it into online stores and accept payments from customers around the world.

It is reported that Airwallex supports more than 30 local payment methods around the world, including Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay bank cards, GrabPay in Southeast Asia, WeChat Pay in the Asia-Pacific region, and Bancontact and Sofort in Europe.

Ravi Adusumilli, senior vice president and general manager of the Americas at Airwallex, said that the Airwallex payment solution will help online retailers create an easy payment journey, and launching the plug-in on Shopify is a way to help merchants improve their cross-border payment capabilities. By using the Airwallex plug-in, merchants can use a variety of global and local payment methods in a convenient, fast and affordable way.

Airwallex will also provide Shopify merchants with seven currency settlement methods, including the U.S. dollar, to help them avoid currency conversion fees. Not only that, merchants can also use multi-currency accounts to receive payments and use borderless cards or direct transfers to cash out.

Airwallex was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. The company aims to provide online merchants and other businesses with payment methods from all over the world. So far, the company's business has spread across Asia Pacific, Europe and North America.
