What is the ACE Program? Review of the ACE Program

The ACE (Amazon Category Engine) program is a product selection program launched by Amazon for Japanese sellers.

About ACE

The purpose of the ACE (Amazon Category Engine) program is to help existing sellers expand their product selection vision and ideas. For sellers who successfully join the program, managers will regularly provide targeted horizontal (other categories) and vertical (own categories) product selection guidance, as well as other support, to accelerate the growth of sellers' categories.

First Release

In January 2019, the Japanese customer management team will launch the "Ace Selection (ACE)" plan for the first time during the Japan Live Special, introducing the purpose and support content of the plan to sellers who registered and went online before 2019 and received an invitation from an account manager.

ACE Program Content

1. Sellers can start receiving 2 months of Category C support from the moment they receive an invitation from their account manager and confirm joining the ACE program with the manager.

2. After joining the ACE program, if sellers can add 10 or more FBA salable products (sub-ASINs) within 2 months, they can start to receive 2 months of Class B support.

3. After joining the ACE program, if sellers can add 30 or more FBA salable products (sub-ASINs) within 2 months, they can start to receive 2 months of Class A support.

Note: Your account manager will assess the type of support you can receive in 2-month increments.

Target audience

Designated sellers who registered and went online before December 31, 2018 and received an invitation from their account manager.
