There is a fire hazard! Domestic candlesticks are recalled by CPSC!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of 7,900 candlesticks on February 23. The reason for the recall is that candles may burn when placed in candlesticks, posing a fire hazard.

The recalled candlesticks are reportedly made of resin and medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and can hold nine candles. Consumers usually buy these candlesticks to celebrate Hanukkah. The candlesticks have various shapes, including camels, brontosaurus, stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, castles, rainbows, rainbow platforms and emojis. The candlesticks have white tags with the words "FESTIVE LIGHTS HANUKKAH MENORAH" printed on them, and the numbers are printed on the bottom label. The numbers are 262933, 263407, 263417, 262950, 856166, 856168, 856179, 856182, 856189, 856192, 856262, 856266. The following is a product picture:

The report said that the recalled candlesticks were all made in China and imported by Lovevery. These candlesticks were sold in Marshalls, HomeGoods and Homesense stores from November 2021 to January 2022, with prices ranging from US$8 to US$15.

It is understood that CPSC has received three reports of candlestick burns so far, and there have been no reports of injuries or property damage.

The CPSC recommends that buyers stop using the product immediately. The remedy for this product is that buyers need to return the product to a Marshalls, HomeGoods or Homesense store for a full refund or gift card. At the same time, buyers can also contact Lovevery and take pictures of the destroyed product to get a refund.
