Through the price comparison service provided by uShip , consumers will be able to book services at more favorable prices ; in addition, the company also allows users to price the goods they want to ship by themselves. In 2009 , uShip formed a partnership with Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, the world's largest heavy equipment auctioneer , to provide real-time estimates and quotes for the shipping of industrial equipment and vehicles sold at auction.

In 2011 , eBay Motors began offering uShip 's shipping price estimator as a vehicle shipping option for all of its U.S. car, motorcycle, and power sports listings.

Development History

Since 2004, uShip has started to cooperate with local websites in various countries, such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, EU countries and Australia.

In 2012 , uShip became the subject of a reality television series aired by A & E called "Shipping Wars," which followed a group of independent shippers who bid on and offer freight through uShip .
