According to foreign media reports, on February 17, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of 1,355 Zeno foldable baby walkers. The reason for the recall is that the product does not meet federal safety standards and can stop on the edge of the steps with a switch. In addition, the product has an opening, and babies can slide down if they are not prepared, and their heads can easily get stuck, posing a suffocation hazard.

The recalled walkers were reportedly manufactured in China and imported by Zeno. The walkers were sold on Walmart.com from October 2018 to August 2021, with prices ranging from $130 to $160.

The recalled walkers are reportedly manually height-adjustable and come in a variety of colors, with black, brown, pink or gray frames, gray or black seats, and white, brown or pink trays. Some walkers come with toys and pushers, and the letters "Babywalker" are sewn on the back of the seat. As shown in the picture:

It is understood that the CPSC has not received any reports of accidents involving the use of the walker. However, the CPSC still recommends that buyers stop using the walker immediately and contact Zeno to send the product back for a full refund.

It can be seen that children's products have always been a high-incidence area for recall incidents, which is not a good thing for the relevant sellers, and the risks they bear will be greater. It is recommended that sellers must strictly control the quality and safety of their products to avoid market share losses due to recalls.
