It is learned that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently announced the recall of Podster, Podster Plush, Bummzie and Podster Playtime ("Podsters") baby recliners manufactured by Leachco, Inc. The recall number is 22-056. The reason for the recall is the suffocation hazard, which has caused the death of two babies. Leachco refused to voluntarily recall the above baby recliners. The Podster Infant Lounger has a circumference between 71 and 75 inches and measures 23.75 x 21.5 x 8 inches. It comes with a padded insert and a removable cover. The cover comes in a variety of prints and is made of 100% polyester and a cotton/polyester blend. The cover also contains a stretchy pad made of a nylon/spandex blend. About 180,000 have been sold.
