According to a survey of more than 1,000 U.S. shoppers by RetailMeNot, more than 38% of shoppers will return their unwanted Christmas gifts. The survey also found that the holiday shopping season will continue into the New Year of 2020: 51% of shoppers said they would shop after Christmas. 48% of respondents said that the main reason for placing orders after Christmas depends on whether there are discounts, 34% of respondents plan to shop after Christmas to avoid package delays, and 9% of respondents said that they will buy products that are out of stock on Black Friday and before Christmas after Christmas.
