American Eagle Outfitters acquires robotic logistics company Quiet Logistics! Optimize the supply chain again!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, American streetwear company American Eagle Outfiters recently acquired robotic logistics company Quiet Logistics for US$350 million to further optimize the supply chain and increase logistics transportation speed.

It is reported that Quiet Logistics' distribution center is strategically located, equipped with state-of-the-art robotic technology and the ability to automatically sort packages, providing same-day or next-day delivery services to American Eagle's customers in multiple areas including Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, St. Louis and Jacksonville.

According to reports, American Eagle has been continuously optimizing and investing in its supply chain. In September this year, American Eagle acquired logistics startup AirTerra to improve last-mile delivery services and provide faster delivery of goods to online shoppers. The acquisition of Quiet Logistics marks that American Eagle's supply chain disruption problem will be greatly improved.

It is reported that in the second quarter of 2021, American Eagle turned from a net loss to a profit, with revenue growth of 35%, which was mainly driven by its e-commerce business. It is for this reason that American Eagle has invested heavily in the construction of its logistics network. The acquisition of Quiet Logistics will prepare for the upcoming shopping season and ease transportation pressure.

It is learned that American Eagle currently operates a number of offline physical stores in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Hong Kong, and supports shipping to 81 countries around the world through its online website. The development of e-commerce has become its inseparable business.
