Walmart Mexico's Q3 financial report released! Revenue reached 176.042 billion pesos! A year-on-year increase of 6.4%!

According to foreign media reports, Walmart Mexico recently released its third-quarter 2021 financial report, announcing that its revenue for the quarter was as high as 176.042 billion pesos, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%, and its net profit was as high as 11.049 billion pesos, a year-on-year increase of 20.5%. Walmart's business development in Mexico has made significant breakthroughs, standing out from other regions.

Walmart's offline store sales in Mexico reportedly grew by 6% during the third quarter of 2021. Walmart held open days and offered product discounts to attract more consumers to its stores. In terms of online shopping and in-store pickup, almost 95% of orders can be delivered within 24 hours.

According to reports, during the third quarter of 2021, Walmart Mexico's e-commerce sales increased by 27%, accounting for 4.5% of total sales. This is mainly due to the fast delivery service provided by Walmart. Walmart uses trucks in physical stores to provide delivery services for online shoppers to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Walmart has also lowered the cost of Walmart+ membership subscriptions to attract more consumers to shop and compete with Amazon Prime. In addition, Walmart Mexico has launched the Walmart Delivery Service (WFS), which allows sellers to store their inventory in Walmart distribution centers.

Walmart's total revenue in Central America increased by 13.9% year-on-year to 30.443 billion pesos in the third quarter of this year. Walmart opened 31 new stores in Central America, 28 of which were in Mexico alone. Walmart's goal is to double its sales in Central America within 10 years by increasing investment.
