Get ahead of the season! Target will start its holiday sale on October 10th!

It is learned that Target announced that it will officially kick off its holiday sales season with the "Target Deal Days" from October 10 to October 12, preparing special Christmas products and gifts for American buyers in advance.

It is reported that many retailers in the United States are already preparing for the upcoming Christmas events, and some of them have begun to strengthen their sales strategies to attract buyers.

Target said the holiday sales season offers will be valid from October 10 to December 24, 2021. During this sales season, Target also provides buyers with price protection services.

Target said its "Deal Days" promotion will provide buyers with online discounts on home appliances such as TVs, headphones, winter clothing and vacuum cleaners, kitchen appliances, food and beverages, etc. Buyers can enjoy the biggest discounts in more than 1,900 offline stores and Target shopping apps.

Target also promises buyers to continue to match prices with selected competitors for 14 days after purchase. In view of this, Target is competing with some major competitors such as Walmart, Macy's and Amazon. It is reported that Walmart is preparing to hire more employees for its stores and supply chain to cope with peak season sales demand. Target will reduce seasonal hiring and extend employees' working hours.

Salesforce predicts that the average price of products will increase by at least 20% during the holiday sales season and the retail industry will face an additional $223 billion in merchandise sales costs.
