It is learned that according to foreign media reports, due to the impact of the epidemic closure, USPS recently announced that it will suspend international air mail services to Papua New Guinea from October 8.

USPS will reportedly suspend the following mail services:

• Priority Mail International (PMI)

• First Class Parcel International Service (FCPIS)

• Commercial ePacket (CeP)

• International Priority Airmail (IPA) Package

• International Surface and Air Freight (ISAL) Parcel

• Airmail M Bag

• International Priority Airmail (IPA) M Bag

• International Surface Air Freight (ISAL) M-Bag

USPS said that packages stored and processed through the International Service Center (ISC) before October 8 will be shipped to Papua New Guinea, but delivery time is expected to be delayed. Packages after October 8 will be returned to the sender with a full refund. In addition, USPS will continue to receive and transport USPS Global Express Guaranteed (GXG) freight, first-class letters, and military/diplomatic mail (APO/FFP/DPO).

It is understood that eBay International Standard Express and GSP are not affected by the epidemic. Sellers in need can use these two couriers to deliver parcels to Papua New Guinea.
