Adobe recently announced a partnership with Paypal to add Paypal payment options to its e-commerce platform Adobe Commerce. Sellers will be able to support a range of payment methods, such as credit and debit cards, Venmo and PayPal, including Paypal's BNPL service.
Adobe said all payment and transaction data will be accessible through the Adobe Commerce Admin platform, and its rates will vary based on the transaction amount. The company said it will offer competitive transaction fees.
Additionally, Adobe Commerce sellers will be able to access advanced financial reporting and view their store order and payment information, such as processing volumes, payment balances, and transaction-level reporting.
Adobe said it may offer other payment methods in the future and increase its investment in PayPal and its cryptocurrency.
It is reported that the company plans to provide the service to US users starting in the fourth quarter of 2021, and will gradually launch it in other regions in 2022, including markets such as Canada, Australia and Western Europe.
